BETFAIR HURDLE, PADDY POWER AND ROY.

A terrific day’s racing after Newbury and Warwick beat the weather. I will just give a few lines with each selection as time is pressing as usual.

Newbury 1 20. SEEDLING could beat the way odds on 4 y old and McCoy is no negative. 1 pt win at 9/2 with Paddy Power. A value bet.

Newbury 1 50. RYDON PYNES has one hell of a chance in this staying contest, should be favourite. 1 pt win at 11/2 PP.

Newbury 2 25. Surely only a fall or his customary 14 mistakes can stop HARRY TROTTER, I have him miles clear and the big wide spaces and small field make him a nap. 2 pts win at 7/2 with PP.

Newbury 3 00, Hard to credit but DODGING BULLETS has never run on a flat 2 mile oval since a mile race at the Curragh as an early 3 y old and that all his races have been either on tight courses or at Cheltenham’s unique undulating idiosyncratic track so today is a new venture for Tom Malone’s shrewd purchase. Should be good enough . 1 pt win 7/4 PP.

Newbury 3 35. What a shame our purchase IRVING does not go but I narrow the Betfair down to three horses, DELL ARCA, CHELTENIAN and CHRIS PEA GREEN. After 4 days of agonising I am going a 1 point on CHELTENIAN at 8/1 with Paddy.

Newbury 4 40. We predict almighty things for Allez Colombieres and we failed in a bid to buy him [ Willie Mullins of course beat everybody off], and it will be no surprise to this site that if this horse goes for the Cheltenham Bumper then the rest might have to start now !!!! The horse he beat convincingly in his last run was AS DE MEE who Nicholls/Malone bought afterwards. He must go very well in this and the 7/1 with Paddy must be taken on value alone. 1 pt win.

Warwick 1 35. KEEL HAUL has a huge chance as he is fresh coming into this, if he copes with the heavy , he wins. 1 pt win at 7/2 PP.

Warwick 2 05. Value is the name of the game and HIDDEN IDENTITY at 9/2 is screaming just that. 1 pt win at 9/2 PP.

I must say a huge thank you to PADDY POWER for making a dream come true for my nephew who is a mighty LIVERPOOL supporter. They have sent him and a friend off to the LIVERPOOL v ARSENAL game today equipped with two corporate tickets for the 1892 Lounge and all the extras that that entails. A huge thank you Paddy and for next weekend at the Emirates where you have done the same.

I would also like to thank ROY for sorting out the meeting with the player’s afterwards. What a legend. Thank’s again.

Good punting,

Fourmileracing.
