GAVEL HOUSE.COM. ARTICLE. HURLING CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP.MICHAEL OWEN.

Good morning, working all night. We [Fourmilewater] won our game v Ballyduff to finish joint top of our group with De La Salle. Ballyduff were well understrength as were ourselves and the game lacked intensity. This win brings the current management’s record to 10 wins from the last 12 in Championship hurling so fair play to Fintan , Dick and Ken and of course all the players. I could be wrong but it might be Ballygunner for us in the quarter final. Lismore were surprise casualties in the group thanks to the Tommy Ryan show v Salle. Ryan is a superb player and I have always rated him one of the best in the county. Tonight’s fixtures in the other group should be something else. I think Ballygunner and Abbeyside will prevail to join Mt.Sion and Passage. That being the case the Q Finals could throw up the following fixtures. De La Salle v Ballygunner, Ourselves v Abbeyside, Mt Sion v Tallow and Passage v Ballyduff. This is of course predicated on what I think will happen tonight, one of course can be totally wrong but people like to read honest opinion and this column will always try and tell it as it is.

It was nice to see one of my articles picked up by Gavel House.Com and Irish Racing.Com. I only had it in draft stage so unfortunately it went to print that way so the punctuation left a little to be desired, that bloody Arthur Guinness again !!!! Joking aside, I hope you find it interesting as I go behind some of the mechanics of the racehorse. Here is the link , http://www.gavelhouse.com/uk. If you fail to get it this way just go to Gavel House.Com and ten click ” topics” and then ”articles” and you will see this eejit here alongside pieces by none other than Michael Owen etc.

More importantly I hope to post some winners here later for today..
