Good result Thursday with Mont Ras winning so that brings me up to 113.25 overall.

Bangor 7 45.

RENOYR is not difficult to assess. This ex Irish gelding has one very important requirement to give of his best. Good or even faster ground. Malcolm Jefferson’s eight year old is a poor jumper of hurdles and this is exacerbated even further when the ground is soft. He simply cannot pick his feet up out of holding ground. The ground at Doncaster when he won on his UK debut at Christmas was much better than the official soft. Nick Mordin has pointed out on several occasions that the surface at the Town Moor track in South Yorkshire is the fastest draining in the entire country.

RENOYR has his ground this evening and while the handicapper could have dropped him a pound or more for two subsequent placed defeats he remains very well in.

I thinks he stands out here against some dodgy opposition. The unique nature of the Welsh track should hold no fears for him at all and in fact should help. One would hope the long journey down from Yorkshire should not inconvenience him too much as he is fresh after a break.

2 points win and nap at 100/30 with BetVictor.
